About our new Identity

Geo stands for the physical world we build on - land, cities, energy systems, infrastructure.

Vitas stands for vitality - continuity, resilience, and the ability to sustain life and economic activity over time.

It is pronounced Geo-Vitas. (Vai·tas ) As in vital. Because the decisions shaping the planet’s future are no longer theoretical. They are operational.

Geovitas reflects the work we do and the future we are building toward. Climate action today is not about intent or advocacy; it is about deploying technology, data, and execution frameworks that help institutions act with clarity and confidence. We exist to design and enable solutions that make climate responsibility practical, defensible, and scalable - across real assets, real systems, and real constraints. This name signals our direction: grounded in science, powered by technology, and focused on outcomes that last.

DSL Prasad

Co-Founder & Chairman

Prasad, former Executive Director, Indian Oil Corporation brings over 40+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry. He is a specialist in technology and leads our innovation and technology initiatives. Prasad is an alumnus of College of Engineering Guindy (Chennai) and IIT Delhi.

Venu Puthussery

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Venu is a fellow of the ICAI and a specialist in Business Strategy, Corporate Finance and Business Transformation. Passionate about solutions to address climate change impact, he is responsible for business transformation and growth

Pradeep Kakkattil

Co-Founder & Director

Pradeep is a successful entrepreneur with extensive climate change experience at a global level. He co-founded Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) in Geneva, connecting leaders with healthcare innovators and investors. He also co-founded Women in Innovation Fund (WiNFUND), supporting female health entrepreneurs in Africa and Asia, and built the UN’s largest HIV Technical Support Facility (TSF).

Anant Kumar

Chief Technology Officer

Anant holds an MTech from IIT Madras and has extensive experience in biofuel and CBG production, carbon assessment and GHG reduction strategies.

Asha Gopinath

Director – Sales & Marketing

Asha has over 25+ years' experience working for organizations with a global presence. She has managed the design, development and implementation of sales & marketing initiatives for technology & services business. At iRAISE, Asha leads the business growth initiatives including customer relationships & partnerships with climate change innovators

Anantha Laxmi

Director - Finance & Administration

A Fellow of ICAI with experience in financial planning & controlling, compliance, risk management and stakeholder management. Passionate about climate solutions, she brings a detail-oriented approach to financial strategy and sustainability-driven initiatives.
